Welcome to the ASReml-R Cookbook. Within this material, you will find a collection of examples, referred to as recipes, and insights illustrating the available commands and analyses that can be performed using ASReml-R 4.2. This web page is a dynamic platform generated using Quarto directly from R. We will regularly introduce new content in response to user queries, contributions from diverse fields, the development of new commands or discovery of new tricks for our software. While we aim to keep the theoretical material concise, you will find explanations here and there throughout the material.

For this ASReml-R Cookbook we aimed to use a variety of publicly available datasets to illustrate the different functionalities.
